Viva Art is the best place in town to celebrate with friends, sip on your favorite beverage* and create fabulous art! Our instructors walk you through every step from start to finish, emphasizing a fun, non-judgemental, relaxing atmosphere so you leave with good memories and a piece of art you are proud to display. We strive to bring out the artist in everyone.

Traditional Paint &
Canvas Classes
Our traditional paint and canvas classes range from $29 - $39 per person, depending on the night and painting. Classes take 2 - 3 hours as listed on the schedule. We use a water-based acrylic paint, and most of our canvases are 16” x 20” unless otherwise indicated. Instructors are on stage teaching every step of the process - from color mixing to painting techniques.
Date Night Classes
Want to spend your date night doing something different? Come to one of our Date Night Classes! Paintings are painted across 2 canvases, so each painter is painting half the picture. Your instructor will walk you through the paintings every step of the way. Your artwork will be a fabulous reminder of a fun night out! Single painters are always welcome in our Date Night classes.
Family Classes
We offer discounted family classes every Sunday at 2 pm and during school holidays. Family classes are recommended for ages 5 -12, but we often have adults coming to paint, too. You can share a canvas or each paint your own.
Door hangers & Wood projects!
We offer many of our paintings on wood pallets. We also have door hanger classes with a variety of wood sizes and shapes. Each month we’ll feature shapes and seasonal themes, so check our calendar often to see what’s new!
Specialty & Artisan Series Classes
We offer a variety of specialty classes.
Oil Pastels - we paint a majority of the picture with acrylic paint, then add oil pastels over the acrylic paint for texture and color
Palette Knife - we add a gloss gel medium to the acrylic paint which thickens the paint. Then we teach painters to use palette knives to apply it to the canvas, resulting in a textured painting similar to an oil painting.
Craft classes - we offer various craft classes such as treat jars, wood centerpieces, wreaths, and k-cup holders
Artisan series classes - These classes are designed to teach you a new skill or technique that you can take with you. Artisan series classes include our acrylic pour, succulent, and candle classes.
